Birchbox October 2014

Hello Friends!

Today, we are diving into my October Birchbox. I may be a little late to the game but better late than never, right? This month I received five samples, as per usual. The first of which was an Ojon Rare Blend Oil. This is an ultra lightweight oil that supposedly conquers frizz, nourishes and adds shine to fine, dry strands. I do not have dry, fine strands; in fact, I have incredibly thick hair. I am not a huge fan of hair oils but I do like this brand and will try this at some point. Next up, we have a Camille Beckman Tuscan Honey Glycerine Hand Therapy and while I like the packaging, I am disappointed with the size of the sample. It is not enough for me to really determine if I like this product. With so many hand creams out there, I am not tempted to purchase this product. Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum with Retinol was the next item I spotted. I am becoming more and more intrigued with anti-aging products and skincare in general. I am using another serum at the moment but I look forward to trying this products in the coming months.

Vasanti Cosmetics Detox Nutrient-Rich Purifying Facial Clesanser: Another facial cleanser in Birchbox? I feel as though I tend to get a lot of cleansers from this subscription service. As I have far too many at the moment, this is going into my stash to try in the future.
ModelCo POWERLASH High Impact Black Mascara: Mascara is another item I tend to find quite frequently in my Birchboxes (and Ipsy Glam Bags). I have so many little mascara samples in an Ikea ALEX drawer and it's getting a bit ridiculous. This particular mascara is from an Australian brand and supposedly adds length and volume to every lash. I will report back.

We have now looked at all the products in my October Birchbox! What items did you receive?

Don't have Birchbox? If you are interested, you can head here to get your very own!
