Ipsy Glam Bag October 2014

Ipsy never seems to disappoint and this month was no exception. I received my October Glam Bag towards the middle of the month and delighted with the contents. I discovered five samples in addition to a teal makeup bag.

This makeup pouch is one of my favorites of all the bags I have received from Ipsy. In addition to the cute pouch, I found some unique products in this month's bag. First thing I noticed was the Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths. The sample contains 10 single-use cloths and they are made with white willow bark and cucumber extract. I have not tried them yet, as I have a pack of Simple Cleansing Wipes open already. I am looking forward to trying them and may bring them on a trip in December. Next up: Jesse's Girl Mineralized Baked Powder Eye Shadow. Unfortunately, I cannot find a shade or color listed on the product itself. This shadow looks absolutely gorgeous; it is a plum eyeshadow with lots of shimmer. However, upon actually using it, I discovered that it wasn't as pigmented as I had hoped. I will still get some use out of this product but it will not be a staple item for me.

Fig & Rouge Hand Cream: Although I am not usually a fan of receiving hand cream (as I have way too much in my stash), I was pleasantly surprised with this product. The packaging attracted me to the product initially. Then, I was hooked on the scent and moisturizing properties of the hand cream. I am happy that this product was in my Ipsy Glam Bag.
Starlooks Lip Gloss in Guilty Pleasure: This lip gloss is a pretty pink shade. It is good for everyday looks. The sample is bigger than some yet still not as big as I would have liked. Overall, I am moderately pleased with this sample.
ECRU New York Acacia Protein BB Cream Beauty Balm for Hair: BB cream for your hair? Is this necessary? At this point, we have a BB cream for every area of our body. I haven't tried this yet but I intend to at some point in the future. The sample size was generous so I am pleased about that.

Those are the products I received in my October Ipsy Glam Bag! What items did you receive?
