For The Holiday Eye Look

For the holiday parties and festive dinners, I always strive for the perfect eye look. I want to share with you four of my favorite palettes for the ultimate holiday look.

The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette was flying off the shelves last year. I patiently awaited my opportunity to pre-order mine throughout the fall months. I can never resist a rose old palette and this was no exception. This palette contains 12 gorgeous shadows, with a variety of shimmery and matte options. The palette is also equipped with a double-ended brush, which is not half bad. My favorite eyeshadows from the Naked 3 are Dust (to place all over the lid), Strange (for the inner corners and the brow bone), and Trick (to pop in the crease).

I opted to purchase the second pro palette over the first. This palette is packed with 16 unique shadows. I gravitate towards Rose (to pack on the lid) and Mocha (to blend into the crease). The packaging is sleek, which makes it great for traveling. This palette is well-worth the money in my opinion.

Often times, I go for a statement lip for a holiday party. In these circumstances, I opt for a more subtle eye look. For those times, it is best to use the Naked Basics. This palette contains six shadows and is packed with matte options. The small size of this palette also makes it optimal for traveling as well.

This is technically quad but I had to include it. It is excellent for the holiday festivities. Upon receiving this in the mail, I initially was disappointed with the pigmentation. However, after some time playing around with the shades, I realized how wonderful this quad truly is. The gold shade in the bottom left corner is beautiful when heavily packed on the lid. This is a bit of a spurge, just as a fair warning, and I highly recommend it.

What are your favorite palettes for the holiday season?
