The Everyday Makeup Menu

I fall into patterns with my everyday makeup look. Whether it be for two weeks or two months, I find products that I constantly like to use and create a simple yet polished look. My makeup looks are often geared towards the office, as I need to look presentable when I go into work. Let’s dive into what has recently been seen on my face.
I always like to start off with a nice base. The NARS Sheer Glow in Deauville has been my foundation of choice recently. If you read my All About That Bass post, you’ll know all about my affinity for this foundation. As for concealer, I stick with my tried and true favorites: Maybelline Age Rewind & NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. These two little products where featured in my Best of Beauty 2014
For a simple setting powder, I am all about the ELF Translucent Matifying Powder. This powder is perfection and excellent for stashing in your handbag for on-the-go touch-ups.
Since I haven’t seen the sun in months, a little bronzer is necessary. My friend, Rita, gave me this stunning bronzer/highligher duo from Bourjois. Sadly it’s not available in the US. This product gives me a bit of a glow yet both products are still relatively subtle.
A good mascara is crucial and this Tarte mascara packs a punch. I often struggle to find mascaras that add length and volume to my lashes, without making them clump. This mascara separates and lengthens and is waterproof! It was another of my 2014 favorites and for a good reason.
Brow game. I am not an expert when it comes to eyebrows but this little product has a lot of offer. I use the mini spooly to tame the brows. Then I fill in the sparse areas using the darker color on the lefthand side using a Sigma Angled Brow Brush. The NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder is a long time love now.
To add some warmth to my cheeks, I generally opt for MAC Blush in Gingerly because it gives me the perfect “I just went for a walk in the snow” kind of flush. It is the optimal blush for winter in my opinion.
We can’t forget a nice lip product. I am happy to report that I am now the proud owner of a Tanya Burr lip gloss. Thanks to my lovely gal pal, Rita. She included this product in our recent swap and I am so fortunate that she did. She sent me the shade Chic which is the best everyday nude. I’ve worn this almost everyday since receiving it. Bonus: it smells really good!
