Unique Places To Add To The Bucket List

"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." -Andre Gide

Some of these destinations have already been stamped in my passport and the others I know I'll see one day. Here are some less common travel spots everyone should see:

Prague: This may not be in the average traveler's bucket list but Prague should be. It's Europe's little fairytale city.

Lisbon: I visited Portugal last summer and was entranced by Lisbon. This city is a mix of ancient and modern elements. It's close to the ocean [and picturesque beaches] yet you can still have those city vibes. The architecture is incredible. Make sure to ride a tuk tuk!

Cinque Terre: This place is so high up my list! It is a beautiful little row of villages along the Italian Riviera coastline. Basically any beach town shot with vibrant buildings you've seen on Pinterest is probably Cinque Terre. Next time I visit Italy, I'm making sure to visit.

Oslo: Norway is one of my favorite countries [random as it may sound]. I have a Norwegian friend and have visited Oslo four times. My visits have only been during the summer--it's basically light out all day and night! The people are kind, the pastries are delicious, and the fjords are beautiful!

Bali: This one may not be so unique and was definitely inspired by Eat Pray Love. But who doesn't want to go to Bali?!

Staniel Cay [Exuma]: Joe and I are actually planning to go here during our honeymoon. This tiny island is part of Exuma--in the Bahamas. I recently learned this is the island where you can swim with pigs [my lifelong goal!]. It is so small you can only fly in from a tiny airport in Florida and there are two hotels on the island, including one with overwater bungalows. I'd love to know if you've ever been here.

What destinations are on your bucket list?
