For those of you who have tried the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, you know what a great primer it is. I have used it in the past and love the texture of the product. It glides onto your skin and creates the perfect base for any foundation. The down side: the price tag. This product empties my wallet at a steep $36 for 1 oz at Sephora. Luckily there is an alternative that works just as well. The Monistat Chafing Relief Power-Gel is a great dupe for the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Both products contain the same active ingredient: Dimethicone. Although you can achieve the same results with Monistat, it is a faction of the cost. I found Monistat Chafing Relief Power-Gel for $6 for 1.5 oz at my local CVS. Fortunately CVS has regular Monistat coupons to save us even more money. I highly recommend picking up this item!
