It is slightly embarrassing how many open tubes of mascara I have in my drawer at the moment. Whenever I buy a new mascara, I vow to leave it untouched until I have used up some of my current stash. However, I have a tendency to break that promise to myself soon after. The real problem is buying the mascara in the first place but every girl needs the latest and greatest mascara, right?
Generally, I keep my favorite, prized mascaras near the front of my drawer, as I reach for them on almost a daily basis. These superstars are three mascaras that I highly recommend to you.
L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara in Blackest Black: This mascara is hands down my favorite mascara to date. In the past, I have hated any mascara that gives me clumpy lashes but this is my one exception. This product gives you clumpy lashes, in the best way possible. I absolutely love the way the wand contorts and can reach those baby lashes on the end. I cannot get enough of this mascara and highly recommend you try it out.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara: The wand of this mascara initially drew me in. I could tell that this mascara would do wonders for my lashes and I was not disappointed. This is the perfect everyday mascara, as it lengthens and separates lashes. The waterproof formulation allows my eyelashes to stay curled all day and the sleek packaging is just an added bonus.
Maybelline New York Volum’Express Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara (Waterproof): Maybelline is by far my favorite brand for mascara at the drugstore. They always seem to be upping their game and this mascara is no exception. I believe I first encountered this mascara over the summer. I was drawn in by the wand (yet again) and noticed remarkably long, full lashes as a result of using it. I am still a huge fan and use this mascara on a regular basis. I chose to purchase mine in the waterproof formula (those stubborn straight lashes). It does dry out rather quickly; I just wanted to give you a fair warning. Verdict: worth buying!
