Megababe Review

My love affair with Megababe started two years ago when I discovered their thigh rescue. After coming across Katie Sturino’s Instagram a year earlier, I had full faith that she would create a good product. She was hyping up Megababe all over her Stories and I was convinced I needed to try it for myself. Over the past two years, I’ve tried a number of her products so it only felt logical to share my Megababe review.

MEGABABE REVIEW: MY FAVORITE PRODUCTS

Thigh Rescue

My first and favorite product: the Thigh Rescue. This stick has a balm formula and creates a barrier between your thighs. I love that the product only contains natural ingredients (aloe, grapeseed oil, and vitamin E). These ingredients also make this stick really hydrating. I typically only need to apply my chafe stick one or two times each day. It really depends on how much you’re moving and how hot it is on a particular day. Since starting to use my Thigh Rescue, Joe would steal mine so I had to buy him his own stick. Fortunately sometime last year, Megaman came out and they have Friction Fighter, which is an unscented chafe stick. Win win!

Squeaky Clean Hand Sanitizer

This could not have come at a better time! It’s my absolute favorite hand sanitizer I’ve ever tried. While it is FDA-approved and meets CDC guidelines (60% alcohol), it’s planted based and nourishing. There are no fillers and this hand sanitizer is moisturizing. It contains marula oil, sweet almond oil & aloe, which helps hydrate your hands. They sell a pocket size and a large bottle (with a pump!).

Happy Pits Detoxifying Underarm Mask

The product I never knew I needed until Megababe created it! The Happy Pits mask contains charcoal, which draws out toxins. The mask is really refreshing and I use it 1-2 times/week. I also love the applicator but you can squeeze the product straight from the tube onto your armpits. No mess. This mask is particularly good if you are transitioning to natural deodorant.

Le Tush Clarifying Butt Mask

I ordered this immediately when Katie Sturino (megababe creator) announced it. While this mask is technically for the tush, I use it all over the body. My favorite place to use it is my neck and chest. This clarifying mask only requires three minutes and leaves your skin feeling so soft.

Megafresh Wipes

If you need on the go wipes, Megafresh wipes are for you. These are great around that time of the month. I pack them when I travel (if that ever happens again). These wipes are hypoallergenic and pH balanced. They contain aloe, vitamin E, and coconut.

PRODUCTS THAT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME

Rosy Pits Deodorant

Ok I don’t want to bash this product because I know so many people love it. I really wanted to like it. I love the packaging, scent and product consistency (most natural deodorants are messy). This product is also a great value, compared to other natural deodorants I’ve tried. Unfortunately this product really irritated my skin. I have no idea why but I got a rash. I might be sensitive to the ingredient(s). I’ve been using Sunny Pits for a couple weeks and haven’t had issues yet. Maybe it’s the scent!

Bust Dust

There isn’t anything wrong with this product but it just didn’t do much to me. Maybe those with more boob sweat would benefit more than me? I don’t have much else to say on this product but I wanted to include it in my Megababe review since I have tried it.
