Self-Care Gift Guide

I can’t believe it’s almost the middle of December! This is my final gift guide for the year. I had to end on a high note: self-care. We all need some extra TLC this year. With everything going on in the world, it’s easy to forget to take care of ourselves. These gifts are the perfect reminder for your friends and family to take some me time. I hope my self-care gift guide gives you some inspiration!

SKINCARE

Gua Sha: gua sha ia massage tool that helps improve circulation. ‘Gua’ is for scrapping and ‘sha’ is for redness of skin. It sounds intense but trust me, it’s not. While it is an anti-aging tool, it really helps with muscle tension in the face and neck. I personally like to keep mine in my skincare fridge. I created this tutorial on how to use it too!

Facial Steamer: Looking for the spa experience at home? This facial steamer is my number one recommendation for achieving at home treatments. I shared how I use mine in this skincare routine video.

Silicone Brushes: These brushes are such a game-changer. It seems like such a simple item but it is so nice not to get face masks or skincare products all over your fingers. Since they are silicone, they are really easy to clean too.

BATH

CBD Bath Salts: These bath salts will elevate your bath experience. Take it a step further and toss in a CBD bath bomb. It’ll be the most relaxing evening.

Bath Pillow: This is an inexpensive way to elevate your bath. It makes soaking in the tub much more comfortable. I’ve had mine for years and it’s in great shape.

Bath Tray: This bamboo bath tray is fantastic. I was given mine years ago. It has a spot for a wine glass, book or tablet, and a candle or snack. It also has extendable arms to adjust to the width of your tub.

Cozy Robe: Joe got me this robe a couple years ago and it is the coziest thing ever. It even has a faux fur hood. Everyone needs one of these robes to snuggle up in.

DE-STRESS

Yoga Mat: This is a great practical and affordable gift. Even for the non-yogis, everyone could use a good stretch to relieve some tension and stress.

Back Massager: I’m so glad I ordered this back massager earlier this year. It really gets into those knots and it heats up. It has three different intensity settings and automatically shuts off after 15 minutes. I’ve also heard great things about the theragun if you need something more intense.

Yoga Tune Up Balls: These yoga balls are another get tool to alleviate muscle tightness. The therapy balls are used to target trigger points and release tension. I also like to roll my feet over them for an overall sense of relief.
